Oh, and a long time ago here in florida before all the modern tech stuff, the people would see large flocks of birds flying away and that would be the cue that a bad storm was on the way.
I wonder about the birds during strong winds...a hurricane or tornado would worry me. Like POP said, they can sense when it's time to leave. Or, they hold on tight.
I guess if they don't sense something is up and fly away, they probably get wiped out.
ReplyDeleteJust before a hurricane hits, the birds take off to somewhere else. I've seen that happen.
