Pure magic.Now, I always look on milkweed plants, hoping to find another chrysalis to watch. I've never found another one, though.
They've been posting a lot on the Cape May site about the thousands of monarchs they're getting there right now. I wish I were there!
I'm in Cape May for today and the next two days. There are lots of Monarchs around, but what is really impressing me are the Buckeyes. There are loads of them. A single boneset plant might have a dozen all nectaring together. There were so many butterflies that I forgot to keep an eye out for birds several times.
