Sick in bed, that's where. With a bad cold.
(I refuse to call it a "flu" because I've never had the flu before. I've never had anything where I've been throw-uppy and diarrhea-y, so I've. never. had. the. flu. So no, I'm not getting a flu shot, so quit asking me.)
(But I have had pneumonia.)
(And bronchitis.)
I think the worst part of being sick AND a curmudgeon, like I am, is that now all those people who were coughing around my cubicle last week are all whispering about ME --"why doesn't she just go home and quit spreading her germs!?" Which is what I was saying about THEM last week. Big jerks. If they'd stayed home when I'd grumbled/asked them, I wouldn't be sick!
Hmph!

Sorry to hear you're sick. Hope you feel better soon. You need to get a flu shot, they do work. ;)
Blech. Feel better. I was told to stay home with my fever and aches and cold symptoms because my boss has to go on the road Sunday and he doesn't want to be sick in the holiday inn in the middle of nebraska. Thank goodness.
Ewwww. You poor thing! Chicken soup will fix you right up.
I thought of you on Tuesday afternoon - thought I saw a hawk flying around the BU campus, right on the river. What are the odds of a hawk being right in the city? Wish I'd had a camera so I could have gotten a pic for you to see and tell me what I was looking at, but alas, I could not retrieve it from the computer bag fast enough.
Delia--sorry you are sick.
(Ahem)--it sounds like the flu...no, I didn't say that, not really. Sorry.
Get better.
Take 2 Niblets and sleep in!
Just please don't cough on His Nibs!
Sorry you're sick. Stomach "flu" isn't the same as influenza . . . sorry! Feel better!
Stay home and rest! That's the best you can do -- and keep hydrated.
Cheers!

Bj--that's crazy talk. I don't need a flu shot!
Lisa--lucky. I was out two days, but that's all the vacay time I had left. Ugh.
LB-dangit!
KGMom--crazy talk, I tell you!
Rabbits' Guy--that's how I got better, with my Niblet.
egretsnest--true, but I STILL don't have the flu.
Catharus--thanks, HB!
Get well soon! I've missed your comments.
I think (but not positive) that rabbits can contract influenza. Perhaps that's another reason to consider flu vaccination...to protect precious Niblet.
Glad you are on the mend. Do some research on rabbits and flu.
I hope you are feeling better :)
