Snow, snow, snow

It's been snowing like crazy up here! Here's the view from the porch:
We had to park out by the storage garage way back there on the left.

Look at it come down!

It was so beautiful that I wanted to go out to Wharton Point to see it fall on the sea water. It seems so crazy to watch snow hitting the ocean, or in this case Maquoit Bay:

Here's what it looked like back then:
This is the same place I saw all those little Least Sandpipers back in September:

Loved the experience. You can keep the snow. I went through most of a double cup of hot chocolate just looking.

Rabbits' Guy--it's different. I don't think I've seen this much snow in my whole life combined. Central PA didn't get a lot; I think we got dumped once to the tune of about 12 inches, but that was the only big snow I remember. The rest were just a few inches and it would dissapear for the most part pretty quickly.

Dr. Monkey--it's VERY beautiful, but I really need to recalibrate my brain to give myself an hour to dig my car out. Even when it doesn't snow, the wind blows what's on the ground all over the place.
