Work ducks!

The courtyard ducks are growing more bold each day as they get used to being around humans. Everyone's been very respectful of the ducks as Mama leads them to the pond for their water time. Here are some pics I took during break:

Hi Delia: I have baby ducks at work, too. I will be blogging about them soon. Aren't they just precious? It's amazing how the mother mallards can handle such large families.

Almost nothing is cuter than a baby duck. I agree with Beth--they are precious.

Hi D Guzman
I've been away from blogging for so long that I totally missed your foray into the world of birding. Your enthusiasm inspires me.

I'm working now on a post about my first (and last) birding experience. Drawing birds has given me much to admire. I like your top wallpaper image a lot.

All together now, "Awwwwwwwwwwwwww"

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks they're cute. Who cares if they're common?

Beth--they're just so fluffy.

Lynne--or put them in my pocket!

Carol--it's okay, for work!

Donna--yup!

Dawn--I go out there as often as I can.

NCMtnWoman--those were the best of the 100 or so I took...

Caroline--thank you! Can't wait to see your birding adventure, though I'm sad it was your last.

Wren--exactly! Their markings are so nice.

Hola Delia,
Those ducks are so cute! I work in a concrete building in the finantial center of the capital... not much green around, and that means less nature beauties as these duckies :(
